Today is Zoey's adoptaversary! We've had her for 4 years! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. This girl has given us such joy that I can't even begin to explain.
On this day, four years ago, Corey and I adopted the cutest little black lab mix. I met Zoey at my job at the daycare.
She was brought in by a client and Nicole and I ended up dogsitting her
and taking her out for walks through the year. Eventually her owner
came to me and asked if I wanted to adopt her as she had become too much
for her.
We couldn't say no. Since that day, she has brought so much joy, happiness and laughter to our lives. There was difficulty at first; being left alone for any length of time caused her to howl and she was fearful of everything. Since then she's come a long way and we couldn't be happier. She never fails to make us smile with her goofy personality and habit of making odd noises when she's happy. She's my co-pilot, cuddle butt, and turdface, we wouldn't have it any other way!
