Soooo last week I made something that I always thought was a little daunting.My mom would make lasagna maybe once or twice a year and my brother and I went bananas for it. She always said it was a lot of work and that's why she rarely made it. It is one of Corey's favorite foods and I thought, 'well, over 6 years into the relationship and I've never made him lasagna. Now's the time!'. Turns out, it's not as crazy hard as I thought. he invention of oven ready lasagna noodles definitely cuts down on the prep time. For my lasagna I used a combination of Italian sausage and seasoned ground beef mixed between layers of tomato sauce and cheese.
I'm pleased to say that it turned out amazing, not to toot my own horn or anything. Must have been good because Corey went back for seconds. hahah. Success!
