Pride & Prejudice

Well the past week or so have been eventful in ways.
Daycare work has taken up most of my time. Between, daycare upgrades, making and prepping advertising for flyers and websites and everything in between plus getting us prepared for starting obedience classes, needless to say I’m pooped. Not trying to complain though, I love my job. It’s really starting to look that the majority of the crazy stress we were put through a few months back is behind us. We can now look forward into making this place a fun and exciting part of our future. I can’t wait.
I finally did something this past weekend that I haven’t really done in a long time. Stayed in bed all morning! Well, not exactly true. I have a tendency to get up quite early (Read 6:30am) just to get all the stuff I need to get done, done during the short 24 hours of precious time I have in a day.
This weekend I did wake up early and did a few chores before I found myself clawing back into bed. Boy was it nice. Nothing more wonderful than going back to snuggle in a dark, warm room with someone ya love!
It was really nice and I think I really needed it.

Sunday I went to a play that my brother’s girlfriend was in. I haven’t been to a play in ages and had it not been for her, I probably wouldn’t have gone because it’s of a genre that I usually try to avoid. Classic romance. Blah. The play was Pride and Prejudice, adapted from the novel by Jane Austin. Not really my style (Fantasy, sci-fi and action is where my heart lies) but they had a few comical moments to keep us going. She did a phenomenal job and I was really impressed and glad I went to see her accomplishment!

On Thursday I get to go see Nine Inch Nails in Vancouver. I am super stoked and we will be going with a few friends so I can’t wait. I’m so ready to cross it off my bucket list/challenge!
