Every year for the past five or so years I have been telling
myself that I will smarten up and do all my Christmas shopping in November to
save myself the headache that is gift hunting in December. Don’t get me wrong,
I LOVE Christmas. What I hate is the crazy people on the roads, crazy people
getting into fights over parking spots, lunatics ripping stuff off of shelves
and arguing with cashiers over the price of the pair of socks they are trying
to buy. The hectic mayhem that Christmas has turned into is definitely not the idea
that comes to mind when I think of ‘the magic hustle and bustle of Christmas’.
This year I finally managed it. I purchased all my gifts
before November 22nd! Nice. I had tons of fun wrapping too. This
must be the first time in history that the wrapping is done (mostly) before the
tree is even decorated.
Speaking of decorating, Nicole and I decorated the daycare.
Still November I might add! We just love it too much. Decorations, the festive….ness
of it all. Hah. Love it and the clients don’t seem to mind either. =)
