For a month now, my cars odometer had been approaching the
fabled 111,1111. I bought the car at 105,035 so this has been a day in the
making. Sure, seeing an odometer reach a funny looking number may not excite
everyone, it does make me giddy for whatever strange reason. Nicole and I were
cruising back from shopping when we noticed we were only a few K left until we
would see the glorious number. She got her camera ready and we continued on
down the road.
Before I go any further I have to say that Nicole and I don’t
have a very consistent focus when we are together. This ultimately lead to the
missing the once in a lifetime moment. A train ahead made us remember of a time
where we got stuck outside of our home town because a train had be stopped on
the tracks after hitting a car.
I look down and see we missed our mark. Aw shit. We take a
picture anyway. Close enough, right?
In other news, I’ve been checking up of my eagles every weekday when I take the pups out for a walk by the river. After some
research I found out that in BC eagles normally lay their eggs between April
and May so maybe we will see some eaglets on the way! Today one of the parents
looked like it was tending the nest while the other flew overhead really close.
It was pretty spectacular to see and they were calling to each other too! Unfortunately the dogs I was walking at the
time demanded to continue our little jaunt so I had to move on. please excuse my shitty iphone pictures. I really need a zoom lens camera.
also Have a music suggestion for anyone interested. I listen to a little bit of everything but every once in a while I find something that sparks the daydreamer in me and just gets me in a mood.
By the Cinematic Orchestra. Let me know what you think. I love listening to it when I draw.
