Scented Razors

Every once in a while I come across a product that makes me think, “Wtf? Why would anyone need this? Let alone buy it?”
Such a product found its way into my hands a few days ago while grocery shopping. When you spend a certain amount of money at Superstore you often get a free item as a promotion. This week’s was a Hawaiian Tropic gift set. Awesome, I burn like it’s going out of style so a bunch of pretty smelling sunscreens is just my thing. When I get home I open the box and find a package of disposable razors. Cool enough but what caught my eye was the text on the box.
Scented Handles!
What? Why would anyone need scented handles? Who thinks “Boy I wish my razors left my fingers smelling like pina colada after I shave!” Why? Why would this be any use at all? There even was a little scratch and sniff sticker on the bottom to test out the glorious razor smell. Geeze, whose bright marketing idea was this?

I managed to get a bit closer to the nesting eagles (but not close enough to disturb them!) Still, my iphone fails to take decent close up shots of the eagles that aren’t blurred beyond recognition. The wonders of the internet tell me that eagle eggs usually hatch around the 35 day mark. Not knowing exactly when the pair laid eggs will make this a surprise if they do hatch. Exciting. I’m surprised at seeing how many red tailed hawks hang around. I thought eagles and hawks don’t usually hang around the same territory. Makes for an interesting walk though.

A few friends and I use an app called Kik to have a group instant message. Lately we've been taking reaction photos that have left me in tears. Den made a lovely collage of my very sexy group of friends. Cheers
