Robo Hooker

So today I had to go in and get yet another blood test and be hooked up to a heart monitor that I am going to wear for the next 24 hours. I didn’t have heart palpitations all weekend but Monday morning they arrived at 8am on the dot complete with a mild anxiety attack, joy.
The blood test was the worst bit. Actually, waiting for the blood test was the worst part. My anxiety spiked to about a 7/10 which wasn’t as bad as before. I had told the nurse prior that I was in the midst of conquering my phobia. She was really sweet and laughed when I told her that at that moment I would ordinarily be planning my escape route through the ceiling tiles. During the actually blood drawing my anxiety was only around a 5 or 6  and I had a nifty little hand bar to squeeze while she did it. In front of me was a oil painting of a little inlet with lots of boats. I thought about my upcoming Pender trip to keep my mind occupied. It was over before I knew it but the site of the needle stung like a bitch this time I’m a bit of a wuss I’m afraid. Ha.

Next she hooked me up with 6 different stickers and wires and about a football field length of tape to secure it all. In addition to that I get to wear this tube of mesh with arm holes cut into it to keep it all together and from pulling on my clothes. I look like a robo-hooker when I look at it haha.

So now I have to record everything I do and the time I do it at. EVERYTHING. Gah. This is going to be tedious.
11:59- Blog writing, chest palpitations and a pain in my leg
Afterward I went to grab a few things at the grocery store and found the worlds tiniest apples. What on earth are people going to bother with these things for?
